Christmas Tune

For Christmas this year, my brother and I decided to make a song. Our mission was to go from nickelback style auto-tune christian country to jingle bells dubstep, to death metal, to acapella, to R&B. Please enjoy this light snack.
Featuring guitar and vocals by Siam and Mad Zach.

Sex, Drugs, and Santa Claus (6 genre’s in 4 minutes) [FREE DL] by Mad Zach

The Devil’s Dancehall EP out now!

JunoDownload Reviews the EP: “Deep psychedelic sounds from electro/breakbeat artist Mad Zach on this latest five-track release from Muti Music, which sees him experiment with slow, weirded-out crunky hip hop on the excellent “Jazz Arpeggiator”, or mixing echoey vocal shots with boogie bass on the equally brilliant “Glitch Villain”. Showing a real HudMo-esque flare for combining warped sounds with hyper-modern beats, “Wailering Moonshine” takes dubstep in all the right directions while the LFO-garggle of “Falling Into Teh Mine” is simply jaw-droppingly fresh.”

Occupy! Audio Defense Weapon [Free Download]

This audio weapon is a gift to the people. It is intended as a vessel for empowerment and revolution. When the soldiers of darkness impose on the tides of change with swords drawn and shields barred, project these volatile waves in their direction at full volume. Unleash the fury. Occupy everything, take down the dominant paradigm. Take down the banks. Its time we take our lives back. We are prosperous, we are the 99%.

The track was composed entirely of found sounds from the G20 protests in Pittsburgh.

Aemmum (nova sauvagine 94.9 / glabz.org): “Some epic moments.”
Timonkey: “Fresh hot glitchy beats and bass from the Santa Cruz underground. “Wolfspiders” is a journey through many styles and tempos, but it’s all glued together by a cohesive and unique aesthetic.”
Ratling (http://www.dubplates.co.uk): “another big album from muti crew big tings !”
ed2000 (http://www.dangerous-drums.de): “the diversity of the influences and inspirations for this is excellent . it hangs together .it works . its all in there. full support !! love this !”

Construct(Montreal / SUBFM / Jungletrain.net / Bass Drive Wednesdays, http://www.wickedbad.net): “Subeater, Big D, Speaker Gargle are my favs. us of air is sinister. Christopher columbus has some cool stabs on the go.”
Jackie Onassid (92.9 (2NCR) River FM, http://www.2ncr.org.au): “…this is right up my alley! Soul Fire fab combo of funk and electrostep disco..very moody, expressive and versatile…innovative inspiring…deviating from formula …bold, dramatic and humorous! tks, will be playing it tomorrow at a youth skaters festival..sure kids will love it.”
Matt (pbsfm.org.au / beatbroker.com.au): great stuff, really interesting and different.
David Starfire (Six Degrees): “glitchy rock busters!”
Pathaan (BBC / Worldwide / iDJ): “feeling this in bits and pieces…”
Psymbionic (http://www.bwompbeats.com): “Having never heard of these guys, I am pleasantly surprised by a myriad of amazing (and thoroughly loud) sounds. Eardrum bursting, mind-melting craziness jampacked into a full length LP. I’m honestly not even sure what else to say, I’m kind of in awe, although I don’t know if it’s from the fruits of the loudness war or because I’m going to have to scrape my brain off the floor now.”
Inaudible: “Huge range of experimental music here, would love to see a list of influences. Hard to pick a fave, 8 Bit Chinsocilliator drops into a beast dancefloor wise, but I’d have to go for ‘US of Air’ for the cool factor.”
Neptune (Beat Church SF): “Really nice diversion from the usual stuff being cranked out. Phresh sounds and style, I like the range of styles between tracks, says a lot to me and with an understone of funk, that always gets me. Good work!!! keep it up! bless it…tune.”
Sam (http://www.brapdem.com): “Wow! Really diverse beats. I could even call them truly funky.
Alan Ranta (tinymixtapes.com / popmatters.com / The Skinny): “The yo sauce.”
